Soul and spirit - not being able to study them scientifically, does not mean we must ignore them

Scientists have decided to limit their research to the objective and material world, because it can be observed by everyone in the same way. They ignore the world of the soul and spirit, or even deny its existence, claiming no one is capable of constructing equipment needed to measure it. Scientists are compromising themselves with this attitude. They would be far wiser to say, ‘This field of study could hold many unexpected riches and could even be the key to true science, but we currently lack the necessary means to explore it given our present methods of investigation. We shall endeavour to do so in the future, but for the time being we are limiting ourselves to studying what is accessible to our five senses.’ As for you, never base your inner life on the opinion of others who voice their opinions about things they do not know.
