Principles (the two) - the masculine principal and the feminine principal are equally important

The masculine principle is the emissive principle, which projects and inseminates, providing the seed of life. And the feminine principle is the principle that gathers and organizes to produce a finished, perfect piece. So the work of creation is shared between the two principles, and we must never overestimate or underestimate the importance of either one. The question is not whether one principle is more important or necessary than the other: both are equally important, equally indispensable, but in two different realms. The masculine principle sends out waves or lines of force, which would be of no use if the other principle were not there to respond, to receive and to work on all it has received. It is these two principles that make life possible: they work together out of sight, even inside the physical body. It is only when one becomes too dominant to the detriment of the other that anomalies and imbalance appear. The science of the two principles is the science of cosmic balance.*
