Prayers - what makes them effective

Prayers and rituals in which believers beg for help from above are only effective if they put clear intent and ardent feeling into their words and gestures. Otherwise, it is pointless, and it’s no use then wondering why they are suffering, why heaven does not answer their prayers or come to their aid… It is quite simply that they have not sent out the powerful current with which they could contact the divine world. Words and gestures mean nothing if they are not backed up and given life by the vibrations of the soul and spirit. If you want heaven to hear you, expressing your suffering is not enough. The intense suffering that drives people to cry for help often comes through only as inner agitation, in which the soul and spirit take only a weak part. For prayer to be a power capable of touching heaven it requires harmony and inner peace.
