Light - living spirit, conscious and active

Ask someone what sunlight means to them, and they will reply that it allows them to see. The beings and objects will always seem more important to them than the light that makes them visible. In Initiatic Science, light is a living spirit, conscious and active. You may say that solar radiation is not a spirit but a physical phenomenon much studied by physicists. Yes, but sunlight is simply a manifestation on the physical plane of the cosmic Spirit, through which the universe was created. The universe is a creation of light. Light is a spirit, the Spirit of God himself. It created life, physical as well as spiritual, and it continues to sustain it. The more light humans receive and absorb, the more their soul and spirit manifest as intelligence, love and power. And so when the word ‘light’ is used it has a spiritual dimension. When someone is said to have light, it means the spirit is manifesting in them.
