Law of cause and effect - basis of creation

So many people become indignant when they see criminals who are never punished! And they keep repeating that there is no justice on earth. They are outraged, and it eats away at them, especially if they do not believe there is a divine justice beyond human justice. Actually there is a divine justice, and it is based on the law of cause and effect that governs the universe. Nowhere are there causes without effects, and every deed, every event, is the consequence of a cause. Cause and effect are indissolubly linked. But the fact is, a lifetime on earth is often too short for us to be able to observe the interplay of causes and effects. If we lived much longer lives, we would see the effects of certain causes occurring, and we would then notice how the guilty are punished in the end and the good rewarded, if not in this incarnation, in the next. The law is absolute.
