Higher Self - everything is inside us, within our divine Self

You are asked to surpass yourselves, to transcend yourselves, but of course this is only a manner of speaking. You cannot distance yourself from yourself, because everything is inside you. It is your consciousness that must rise in order to attain higher levels. When you sense that you have risen to heaven, visited the stars, and reached the Lord, in fact it is within yourself that you have gone further, risen higher, or plunged deeper to reach your higher Self. And it is within your higher Self that you will find every means to create new, purer, more harmonious forms within yourself. We need a down-to-earth language to express the realities of the spiritual world, as though we were speaking about spatial distances and volumes, but all this is really happening within us, in our higher Self, our divine Self.*
