Evolution - the exploration of matter is but one stage

Human beings’ descent into matter is neither a mistake nor an accident of evolution. It was planned by Cosmic Intelligence. To gain absolute knowledge, human beings need to develop their intellectual faculties, and in order to do this they needed to be placed in conditions in which their perception of the invisible world would be weakened, leaving them free to apply themselves to the exploration of matter. This is why humans today are at a materialistic stage of their development. But this is not the final stage. In time, humanity will once again return to those regions of the soul and spirit that it has left; and thanks to all they have experienced in the material realm by way of the intellect, they will return there enriched.
