Weapons - physical and psychic equipment

It is true that life is full of difficulties and pitfalls, but we must never forget that heaven has not sent us to earth unarmed and defenceless. On the contrary, it has given us the means to cope with everything. Just as we arrive on earth with all the physical equipment we need to face the material world (with a head, arms and legs, a stomach, the five senses and so on), so too do we possess all that we need psychically to face life. Thought, feeling, will and imagination are there to be used just as we use our physical limbs and organs. Get into the habit of seeing things this way. Do not let your faculties lie idle, otherwise the day when you need them most, they will be of no help to you, they will have become like rusty tools.
