Many artists have deliberately sought to have multiple love affairs because they believed that love kept their inspiration alive. Unfortunately, this very human, sensual, fickle love, while indeed the source of some inspiration, was principally the cause of tremendous havoc. Love is like wine, it is intoxicating, but this headiness sought in the lower regions leads to the same physical and moral degeneration as alcohol abuse. And yet knowing how to love is the greatest thing. True love makes you more beautiful, it enlightens you. Thanks to this love, you do good to all creatures, and above all, you are happy. Wisdom will not bring you happiness, neither will power. Power might make you invincible but no happier. To be happy, you have to love.
