Sun - it possesses true power, the ability to warm people

True power does not lie in ordering people about, striking them, punishing them or causing their death. True power lies in warming them, in warming them to the point where they can no longer resist and have to undress—metaphorically speaking—in other words, to cast off all their heavy and dark layers. And only the sun possesses this power. When it sees people who resist and refuse to take off so much as their overcoat, it turns up the heat, as it were, and triumphs where even rain, wind, storms and snow could not: it gets them to take off their coat. The coat is this materialistic, selfish philosophy that so many people use as a shell. Only the warmth of the spiritual sun, love, can make them abandon it!
