Psychic food - observe the same rules as for physical food

Our physical body has a stomach to digest physical food. In the same way, our astral and mental bodies also have stomachs – the astral stomach’s function is to digest feelings, the mental stomach’s to digest thoughts. We must look after the health of these psychic stomachs, just as we look after the health of our physical stomach. Those who swallow any old thought or feeling or overindulge get indigestion, giving rise to an accumulation of waste, which they then have to eliminate just like the waste from physical food. Those who have an excess of unrefined thoughts and feelings defile everything with their foul emanations wherever they go. So there are rules to be observed for psychic food just as there are for physical food, and it is up to each person to find these within themselves.
