Physical body - thoughts and feelings influence our health

Observe yourselves and you will see that when you are unhappy with life and suffering, it is rarely a change in your material conditions that will improve your spirits again, but rather a change in your thoughts and feelings. Of course, if you are suffering physically, you need physical remedies. If you have a wound or a broken leg, even the very best thoughts and feelings will not heal you or relieve the pain. It takes a long time for thoughts and feelings to descend into matter and bring about improvements, but they can help you to bear the pain for they do have some influence on your physical body. Harmonious thoughts and feelings affect your circulation and purify your blood, and when blood is pure, it contributes more effectively to the health of the body as a whole. Even your wounds will heal better and faster.
