Opportunities - finding ones to learn from each day

Each day, life presents us with everything we need to learn from. Wise people will reflect on everything, draw lessons from everything and use everything for the good. But can the same be said of others? Many are lacking in judgment to such an extent that, even when good things happen to them, not only are they incapable of seeing them or using them but they manage to get the good things to backfire on them. If you are aware and vigilant, even your failures and misfortunes can contribute to your evolution, because you will know how to use them. You will tell yourself, 'Oh, my - another wonderful opportunity for me to become stronger, more intelligent and richer in experience.' Without these opportunities, how would you make progress? In a different sphere, examinations and competitions play exactly the same role, forcing students and athletes to exert themselves.
