Novelty - found by delving more deeply into the truths we thought we knew

You have received such a profusion of truths from this Teaching that you have not even had time to assimilate them all, and yet you are constantly expecting something new. But what are you doing with all that you already have? You must not be content to take notes and file them away somewhere. You must put these truths into practice or you will spend your life waiting for something new, instead of advancing. The spiritual life requires that we continually work at the same truths. The novelty lies in what we discover each day by delving into them more deeply.
