Masters - sent to help human beings with their apprenticeship

The earth is a school and, as in all schools, you will find nothing but lessons here. Yes, the lessons come from all sides. Until you understand this, you will be harassed by destiny and you will suffer. The invisible world sends spiritual masters to help human beings with their apprenticeship, and if people refuse their teaching, they will meet with other instructors—failure, illness, poverty, and so on—and these are merciless. If you want to avoid the terrible lessons of instructors such as these, you would be wise to accept the lessons your Master gives you, for those who refuse to learn the divine laws willingly are forced to learn them the hard way.*
