Love - is nourished by the mysterious

A man and woman meet and feel the need to come closer to one another: for a while they are both attentive and seek to please each other. But the day they begin to live together, they no longer feel so obliged to make an effort. You will say that everyday life is so engrossing, there are so many worries, obligations and things to think about! That’s true, but there is at least a solution: to show some reserve and restraint. Yes, even when men and women live together, it would be worth their while to show some restraint, to avoid falling into the mundane familiarity that characterizes their daily life. It is often lack of vigilance that causes men and women to lose their love. It is good for couples to keep something hidden and mysterious with regard to each other, so they can sustain their interest and curiosity for something new and unknown. It is this unknown element that protects and nourishes the attraction they feel for each other.
