Love for God is echoed back to us - To find God

To find God, the first condition is to love him. Not that God needs our love. If the great masters of all religions have taught people to love God, it is because they knew the magic law of correspondence between the spiritual plane and phenomena we see every day on the physical plane. You throw a ball against a wall and it bounces back to you; you call out words to the rock face of a mountain and it echoes them back to you. In the same way, when you send your love to God, you trigger this same law, and divine love is bound to come back to you. God does not need us, but we need Him, and the only way to draw Him to us is by loving Him.
