Love - as soon as you stop looking for it, love comes to you

Stop chasing after love and you will see that love will chase after you. Even if you want to get rid of it you will not succeed; if you drive it out of the door it will come back in through the window. Yes, as soon as you stop looking for love it comes to you. But the more you chase after it the farther it flees. It is like running after your own shadow: it is always ahead of you, you can never catch up with it. Looking for love from other people is like running after your shadow. So stop looking for it and it will always be there, smiling at you and gazing on you kindly. You cannot get away from the fact that when you look for love from others, you are concentrating on something outside yourself and you lose the love within you. So instead of looking for love, draw it out from yourself and give it to others and then it will always be within you.*
