Lessons - to be drawn from everything that happens to us

We did not come to earth to have events conform to our wishes (especially as people’s wishes are rarely in agreement!) but to learn to draw lessons from everything, to reason, to analyse and to discover the laws that rule creation and creatures. We must be willing to go through the university of life, which offers us every means – libraries, laboratories, botanical gardens, zoos – everything we need to educate ourselves if we are willing to observe and take notes… And life also regularly makes us sit examinations so that we can find out how well we are doing. Each person is required to take tests in heaven’s schools just as they are in schools on earth, and so no exercise should be overlooked. Cares, sorrows or disappointments are all only material for us to work on to make us strong and powerful.
