‘Kingdom (the) of heaven is like yeast’ - commentary

When speaking of the kingdom of God, Jesus mostly used parables. For example: 'The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed in with three measures of flour until all of it was leavened.' Jesus foretold the coming of the kingdom of heaven on earth, when human beings themselves must become the yeast. If they work to become spiritual ferment, they will be able to influence the whole world by means of their presence and their emanations. It depends on the intensity of their light and their love, on the strength of their conviction. To undertake this work, you need a teaching, a philosophical system and a method. But first of all, you have to understand why it is necessary to live a new life with much greater understanding, sustained and nourished by a more impersonal kind of love and an unfailing will. This is how you can become this yeast, this beneficial, positive factor for the whole world.
