Human beings - each is like a book that they themselves have written

Every human being is like a book, a book they themselves have written. But often, oh what scribbles and gibberish! It is filled with all sorts of abnormalities and aberrations. And when two of these ‘books’ meet and are mutually besotted, they spend day and night ‘reading’ each other, but what good can come of it? Human beings know many things, but they have not yet learned how to write their own book and make a masterpiece of it. They have been taught how to work only outside themselves―sculpture, carving, drawing, writing, and so on―always externally; their inner being is left fallow. However, the day they realize how important it is to write their own ‘book’, whenever they meet each other, they will marvel at being able to read the sublime writing and illustrations: the qualities, virtues and gifts each of them has worked to developed within themselves.
