Hate - creates links as strong as those of love

If you hate someone, well, you should know that you are creating a connection with them, for hate is as strong as love. If you wish to feel inwardly free of an enemy, don’t hate him or her, try at least to feel indifferent. As long as you hate someone, it is as if you were connected to them by chains, you never leave them. You say, ‘I can’t stand that person anymore. I have cut my ties with them.’ Yes, perhaps you don’t meet them physically, but on the astral plane, it is different, you don’t distance yourself from someone by hating them. Bear this in mind: the connections created by hatred are as strong as those created by love. Obviously, the connections are different: love offers certain things, hatred others, but just as surely and as powerfully as does love.
