Experiencing matter - is indispensable to the human being’s development

It is said that human beings were created in the image of God. So in essence they are pure spirit. Then why do they come to incarnate on earth? To explore matter – because that is how they will succeed in developing all the capacities of the brain, which are almost infinite. During this descent, their five senses, the intermediaries between spirit and matter, have become increasingly important, to the extent that human beings have now lost awareness of the world of the spirit, the divine world, from which they came. They have cut the link and no longer even feel its presence, which is a great impoverishment, even if they are not aware of it. Nevertheless, their contact with matter will remain an extraordinary acquisition for them. It is part of Cosmic Intelligence’s plans to take human creatures to the state of perfection. So they must go through the opacity of matter, go through illness and death, until the day when, strengthened by these experiences, they return to the true life, to the light, to freedom, and that is when they will know their Creator fully.
