Entities, heavenly - it matters little in what form we appeal to them

So long as human beings are unable to build an inner sanctuary as a place for spiritual entities, there is nothing to stop them from resorting to icons or statues, even prostrating themselves before them, to express the need they have to adore the divine Principle. The main thing is that they should acquire the habit of turning their thoughts to higher entities, so that these will come to dwell in them, and that they go forward on the path with their head always in the light. As soon as you feel sadness or discouragement taking hold of you, turn to the heavenly spirits. And even if you do not know how to visualize their features, it doesn’t really matter. Say their name, for the name itself is an image, and the letter you are sending in your thoughts will reach whoever it is addressed to. So it is important to at least know the name of the entities whose attention you are seeking.
