Energies - only act effectively if they are focused

When a country is threatened with invasion, it gives orders for a general mobilization and assembles men and arms at its borders. And anyone who wants to build a house brings in materials from different places and collects them on the proposed building site. And imagine you want to burn some old rags and papers but do not have any matches; you can take a magnifying glass and position it so as to focus the sun’s rays, and the fire will take. These three images clarify the methods you can use for your spiritual work, whether it’s about protecting yourself from enemies, building your inner temple or burning impurities in the fire of the divine sun. In each case, there is something that has to be mobilized and focused. Nothing is possible when energy is scattered, and many of the exercises I show you are aimed at mobilizing your energies.
