Destiny - a person’s destiny can be likened to a train

A person’s destiny can be likened to a train they have boarded. If they have taken the train for Nice... they will end up in Nice. Once their destination is chosen it cannot be changed. But while they are on the train they still have a certain degree of freedom: they can leave their seat, change their compartment or even their coach, walk along the corridors, read, sleep, watch the passing scenery, keep quiet or converse with other passengers, make the acquaintance of an attractive young man or girl, go to the dining car, and so on. So they are at once free and not free. Similarly, you have come to earth in certain conditions and with certain predetermined elements, but at the same time you have a certain freedom of action and movement. The question is what use you will make of these possibilities, for you can use them to achieve greater freedom or to limit yourself even further.*
