Bees - symbolize the work of the Initiate

Bees draw nectar from flowers and turn it into a delicious food: honey. Symbolically, this is the work of the Initiate or the highly advanced disciple. Just as a bee gathers the nectar from flowers without ever damaging them, the Initiate draws close to people only to gather their most spiritual quintessence, and thanks to his knowledge of alchemy, he prepares in his heart and soul, food with such a delicious taste and fragrance that the angels come to savour it. That is what a bee is—an Initiate: he always manages to find a divine quintessence in every human soul, even in those who have fallen very low, and with all this harvested quintessence he makes honey which is the food of celestial entities.
