Balance - between our spiritual activities and physical work

The more highly evolved a person is, the more intensely they live their life. Of course, if their life becomes too intense, they may have the impression that something within them is about to burst, which could be quite frightening. Indeed, their nervous system may not be equipped to withstand certain pressures, but this can be averted if they know how to work, progressively increasing the intensity of their vibrations ever so gradually. The human organism can tolerate the most enormous pressures as long as they do not occur too abruptly. It is like an engine that has to be warmed up gently so that it does not blow. When you feel that your brain is getting overtaxed by too much mental or spiritual work, why not turn to some physical work, to send that energy into your arms and legs? You will regain your equilibrium, because you will have been able to direct your energy, briefly, elsewhere.*
