Alphabet, cosmic - its resonance within us

In the cabbalistic tradition, letters and sounds represent the elements used by God to create the world. So there is a kind of cosmic alphabet, the letters of which are symbolized by the twenty-two letters of the Hebrew alphabet. In the universe, these letters are all interconnected. Those who know how to combine and arrange them to create words, sentences and poems are true scribes. In the initiatic sense of the word, a scribe is someone who knows how to transpose the elements of language – the letters of the alphabet – in all areas of life and especially within themselves. They try to bring these elements together and give them order, so as to create an expression of beauty and harmony. And that is the most difficult part. When disorder arises in humans, it means they have positioned the ‘words’ wrongly, mixing them up without any science or wisdom. They must therefore start by learning the correct word order.
