Woman - one of her vocations is to educate man

One of woman’s vocations is to educate man; through her thoughts, her attitude and the way she looks at him, she must encourage him to perform deeds of great nobility and generosity. Man asks only to be uplifted and inspired by her. As long as women refuse this ideal and think men are only a means of obtaining pleasure and satisfying their desires, they are not fulfilling their true vocation. Woman’s vocation is to be man’s teacher. You will say, ‘But she is so much weaker and more delicate than him! How can she stand up to him?’ She does not need to stand up to him in order to influence him. She can do so in another way: by educating her sons. And these sons will have a life-long respect for women thanks to their mother. Yes, through the daily influence they can have on their very young children, mothers have the means to create upright, noble and generous characters, saints and heroes.
