Riches - being aware of all those God has given us

Try hard to be aware of all the riches God has given you. Your heart will be filled with such gratitude, such love, that your only wish will be to help and enlighten others. Those who feel themselves to be rich are unable to keep everything for themselves; something compels them to share what they have. Those, on the other hand, who spend their time thinking about everything they do not have and comparing it to all the things that others have, become jealous and envious. They think, since others are more fortunate, that they are justified in taking their feelings out on them in some way or other, by taking away from them or destroying what they think is excessive and ought to be theirs. At the root of most crime is poverty in all its forms – material, moral and spiritual. So if you want to be a benefactor of humanity, consider yourself rich with all the wealth you have received from providence and which no one can take from you.
