Rhythm - its laws govern the universe and humans

The cosmos obeys the law of rhythm. Everything in the universe is rhythm, and humans themselves belong to this great cosmic rhythm. Every one of their biological and psychological functions is governed by the laws of rhythm, whether obviously or imperceptibly. And depending on their way of life, on what they think and feel and how they behave, humans are either more or less in harmony with this universal rhythm. Since the dawn of time, music and dance have been human beings’ attempts to rediscover and keep to this universal rhythm. This is why, at a certain point in their history, all cultures have attributed a divine origin to music and dance.
