Purity - condition for plenitude

Purity is essential if we are to grow and blossom. It is a prerequisite for our health, our energy, our beauty, our intelligence, our joy and our love. Why? Because impurities create obstacles to the circulation of energy, whether it be physical or spiritual. It is therefore important for human beings to rid themselves of these impurities, and if purification exercises have such an important place in initiatic science, it is obviously with good reason. We must undertake this purification not only by physical means (fasting, breathing exercises, cleansing, and so on), but also by spiritual means: concentration, meditation and prayer, in order to introduce within ourselves a substance which disintegrates and throws off these unwholesome elements. This substance is light.
