Present - the result of the past, the roots of the future

Your future will turn out to be what you are building in the present. It is therefore the ‘now’ that counts. The future is an extension of the present, and the present is nothing other than a consequence, a result of the past. Everything is connected: the past, the present and the future are not separate. The future will be built on the foundations you are laying today. If these foundations are not good, there is obviously no point in expecting an exceptional future, but if they are good, then there is no need to worry. The roots determine the nature of the trunk, the branches and the fruit. The past is past, but it has brought about the present, and the present forms the roots of the future. So, you are building your future by seeking to improve the present.*
