Presence of the Lord - those who have attracted it need ask for no more

Spirituality does not consist in vague aspirations. Those who are truly spiritual begin by building an altar in their soul to the Lord, and they keep a flame burning there at all times. Each day they must climb to this altar, aware that they are entering the divine presence, and only then do they know what they should ask. As long as you are asking the Lord to satisfy your personal desires, you have not yet entered his presence. The day you enter the Lord’s presence, there is only one thing you can ask: to be filled with his light. But, actually, you feel you no longer have anything to ask of him: as soon as you enter the Lord’s presence, you are flooded by his light, and when you come back down this light lives on in you for a long time.
