Pedagogy - most noble, most meaningful profession

Teaching is the highest and most noble of all professions. Of course, not everyone shares this opinion: becoming a lawyer, engineer or doctor is considered to be very worthwhile indeed, whereas caring for children is of no significance. Yet this is the most important, meaningful occupation of all, with enormous consequences for the future. Bringing up children is such a responsibility – for teachers and parents alike. It is divine work. This is why there will come a day when psychology and child education will be held in the highest regard despite the fact that now they are still looked down upon. And that day is fast approaching. Attention is increasingly turning to these subjects: the human being, psychological life, upbringing and education. The history of humankind shows clearly that problems can be truly resolved only when psychology and pedagogy are given first place.
