Opinion - only the Creator’s must count for us

The Creator has made us all guardians of gifts, faculties and talents, which we must cultivate. You will say it is a lot of work and effort that others may not recognize. But why attach so much importance to your talents being recognized? God himself, who gave you these riches, sees what you make of them, and it's not sensible to allow your development to depend on the opinion of others. The only opinion that must count is your Creator's. Look what happens in the case of famous people. One day they are the focus of everyone's attention, and the next they have sunk into oblivion. One day they are praised to the skies, and the next they are being slated. Sometimes both things happen at the same time: while some admire them and praise them to the skies, others tear them to shreds. And what state will they end up in then, if they don't know how to hang onto something solid and stable in themselves?
