Inner flame - strengthen it so that no breath can extinguish it

Each of you is inhabited by a flame, a divine aspiration, and, although it may be weak, you have the power to feed it so that it becomes an enormous blaze. When you begin to feel this flame burning within you, take care not to expose it to every passing breeze that could extinguish it. In other words, choose carefully the people you associate with, the literature you read, and the entertainment you watch. Choose the best influences for your heart, your mind, your soul and your spirit, influences that strengthen you inwardly. When you feel you are truly strong and unwavering, you will be able to confront anything, and the same experiences that would have destroyed you before will now strengthen you. When a flame has been given sufficient fuel to become a blaze, no storm can extinguish it. On the contrary, it fans it.
