Imagination - comparable to a space probe

The imagination is not merely a faculty that allows human beings to visualize objects, people or events. It is also a kind of apparatus that enables them to travel in the universe and visit regions as yet unknown to them. These journeys can lead them to hell as well as to heaven. For an initiate, the imagination is comparable to a space probe which is sent out into the universe to record the splendours of heaven and communicate them back to his consciousness. This is also how many painters, sculptors, poets and musicians have found their inspiration: in spirit they visited sublime regions and brought back visions and impressions which they then attempted to translate through their art. And you, too, even if you have no works of art to create, try to guide your imagination more often toward these celestial regions. Allow it to contemplate these worlds of beauty which will leave indelible impressions on it.
