Holy Spirit - elevating ourselves inwardly in order to receive it

In order to solve your problems, get into the habit of elevating yourself each day by way of thought. It is up to you to move, without waiting for the Lord in His clemency and mercy to come to you. For the Lord will not come down. You will say, ‘But we read in the Scriptures that on the day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles in the form of tongues of fire.’ Yes, but in order to receive the Holy Spirit, humans must first inwardly elevate themselves to the celestial regions and merge with the Divinity. Those who purify themselves and who vibrate in unison with the will of the Lord already live in the most luminous regions. And even if we say that the Lord has ‘descended upon’ someone, in fact, it is that person who has risen up to the Lord, and the Lord has filled them with His presence.
