God - on the path that leads to him we will find everything to which we aspire

Wealth, power, knowledge, beauty… All these advantages seem so desirable to you, but do not go seeking them, for they are not enough to satisfy the human soul, and having them leaves it hungry. So as not to expend your time and energy unnecessarily, you must desire something unachievable, forever inaccessible, and this inaccessible ideal is God himself. Between us and God is an infinite expanse. But across this space there stretches a thread, a path we can follow. As we travel towards the point that is God, we will have to pass through all kinds of stages, such as love, beauty, power, knowledge and strength. We will find all the treasures we seek without needing to search, for they await us on the road leading to God.
