God - his existence cannot be proven by argument

The existence of God cannot be proven through reasoning – the arguments used are so weak! And it is an insult to the Lord to even imagine that reasoning, however subtle, will prove his existence. How can you prove to the blind that there really is light without giving them back their sight? So a spiritual Master is not concerned with proving the existence of God or of a world we cannot see beyond our physical world. He takes the existence of God and the invisible world as the implicit foundation of his work; it is what he builds on. When he has to address his disciples, he does not ask himself whether or not they have faith. And because he acts in this way, the day will come when God is no longer a matter for doubt or questioning for them, and they will be able to communicate with the realities of the invisible world.
