Education - letting go of ideas that are harmful to society

In order to fulfil their educational role properly, families must not be afraid to abandon certain ideas that have a harmful influence on the harmony of society. For, it is such ideas that teach children to desire their own personal success and their own wellbeing above all else, even if it is at the expense of others. Families also accustom their children to regard those who are not of the same nationality, religion or race as inferiors or enemies. Therefore, it should come as no surprise if these children later grow up to become selfish, narrow-minded and intolerant adults.
