Divine laws - we cannot evade them

Outwardly, most people are perfectly decent. They have never broken a man-made law for fear of being caught and convicted, yet they have no qualms about flouting divine laws, although these laws are in fact far more fearsome. If we are intelligent, or perhaps just lucky, we can always evade human laws. Whereas no one has as yet been able to evade divine laws, however intelligent or clever they may be. Over and above us and our minor intelligence there exists another intelligence that watches and records everything, and that is why evil-doers are always found out and punished. Unwittingly, they always leave traces behind somewhere. Even a thought or a feeling leaves traces. You have gone out somewhere, and outwardly you may not have done anything wrong, but if you have had criminal thoughts, these thoughts will be recorded in the subtle world. That is why the law—divine law—will pursue you, and some time later those delinquent thoughts will in one way or another have dire consequences for you.
