Changes in the world must come from human beings’ desire for them - Some people wonder why heaven does not decide to intervene and change the world

Some people wonder why heaven does not decide to intervene and change the world. It could do so, of course, but without the consent and goodwill of human beings it would be of no use; they would not understand, nor would they appreciate this order established by heaven, and would soon destroy it. Whereas if the desire for change comes from them, if they truly want to remedy the state of things because of what they have suffered and the lessons they have learned, the invisible world will set in motion other forces, other currents, other energies, and then true change will take place. But the impetus must come from human beings; they must decide together to work and ask the cosmic forces to intervene. If they do not insist, nothing will happen. The sublime Intelligences will never choose to get involved in the affairs of humans if the latter do not ask them to.
