Astral body - of the rich person and the camel

A human being’s astral body is the seat of all their feelings, desires, emotions and passions, and if it is not controlled, it becomes like a monstrous tumour within them. This is why Jesus said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God. In their desire to amass possessions, rich people end up with such an enormous astral body that they cannot enter the kingdom of God, where only those who are capable of detachment and simplicity are accepted. Whereas the camel, which has had to learn sobriety because of the harsh conditions in the desert, is the symbol of the initiate who is content with very little and is able to get through the worst conditions in life without succumbing. This image of the rich man and the camel can be interpreted only if we understand that Jesus was not alluding to the physical body, but to the astral body. This proves that unless we know the structure of the human being, we cannot interpret the Gospels correctly.
