Archery - its link with the zodiac sign of Sagittarius

Archery as a spiritual discipline requires very lengthy training. But even for those who have no intention of practising it, it is interesting to study the correspondences between this discipline and the zodiac sign of Sagittarius, the heavenly archer. The first, obvious interpretation of this symbol is that the archer is someone who has learned to defend himself and others. Next, the arrow can also be the arrow of thought aimed at a lofty, distant target, to unleash forces above. But in order to achieve this, the thought must be not just focused but imbued with a feeling of love. Meditation and magic can be seen as forms of archery, inasmuch as they bring the world below into contact with the world above. As soon as we put our mind to work, we become like the archer.
