Angelic hierarchies - get to know them

Christians tend to look down on polytheist religions and their multitude of gods, without realizing that in their own way, they too have a whole pantheon of saints whom they pray to and worship. The custom of invoking spiritual entities who are believed to possess various powers goes back to far distant times, and Christians have merely adopted this custom and continued it. This clearly shows that even for Christians, God is so inaccessible that they need to approach Him through intermediaries. But instead of turning towards the saints, some of whom are legendary figures who never even existed, why not turn to the celestial entities? These beings are mentioned in the Christian religion, and even in the Mass, but Christians have not paid attention to them. They are the angelic hierarchies: Angels, Archangels, Principalities, Virtues, Powers, Dominations, Thrones, Cherubim and Seraphim. It is important to get to know these hierarchies, what they are, where they are to be found, and what powers they possess.*
