Acquisitions - disciples must become inwardly strong and wealthy

In any and every sphere, human beings tend to focus almost exclusively on the gain of external acquisitions. They do not see the futility of wanting to own objects which, as they are external to them, can never really belong to them. As long as people have money, machines and weapons, all is well, they feel strong. But the day they are deprived of all these, they are completely lost. Disciples of Initiatic Science have come to understand this very well, which is why they work on their inner strength and inner riches: in this way their weapons and their wealth belong to them for all eternity. Initiates are not against new technological discoveries. Indeed, they also use these discoveries, and are very pleased to have them. However, they know how to avoid the pitfalls. They work in a different sphere of their own, which is at their disposal at any time. That is true independence.
